Coral Grief brings the painted figure and coral-like sculptural forms into one photographic composition. Human vulnerability becomes entangled with the destruction of marine environments.
Inked Yupo paper is shaped using a butane torch to construct the sculptural forms. Woodwork supports the physical composition; photography and Photoshop bring its elements together as the final image.
